I tend to use the term rather broadly. Others prefer a more narrow definition.

Edit: However, simply disliking Islam would not, in my mind, automatically make a person neoconservative. The issue, as I see it, is the person's policy proposals. There are a lot of groups I happen to dislike. That doesn't mean I advocate bombing them.

I don't think he was racist either, to my knowledge. Also doubt he was a Zionist as a previous poster claimed, due to comments he made about some of their religious practises and illegal acts.

Unregulated immigration can be a threat, especially if it begins to overwhelm local services and I frastructure, as well as the possibility of bringing along with it diseases.
