I spent six months on Second Life and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for syndicalist otherkin, for furries and scalies. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for syndicalism. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three websites.
*chuckles*
Yeah, it wasn't that great, a few thousand. Still, the guys are still around and we're in contact occasionally, and we managed to spread the word a little. The money went on some now dead websites and a bit of leafleting, and covering our investment. More than most manage, and I felt like a gangster at the time, so don't rob me of my feels.
We moved on to other means. I'm off to sociology "Mens rights mens rights mens rights. My economics? Oh, i'm a syndicalist, let me tell you how.", some of the others are off doing other shit, one or two journos.
EDIT:
Who knew all we needed was a goddamn hearts of iron mod. Made us all look like chumps.
