If you know anything about libertarian Marxist communists, we consider the USSR to have been right wing.

I don't care what Marxists consider right-wing because they're about as objective in their perception of the political spectrum as a drunk, concussed 7 year old chimp.

Look up the etymology of radicalism. It originally meant getting to the root. That is precisely what Marx and Engels did. They explored the root of exploitation in modern societies.

It's not that I don't trust you, it's that I think Marxism is completely incapable of accurately representing politics.

"Hypocrite" originally meant "actor" and was probably derived from "Hippocrates", but that doesn't mean that it has anything to do with either entertainment or philosophy.

I'm really not. Radicalism can lead to the USSR just as much as it can lead to Nazi Germany.

Nazi Germany is really not "right". The Nazi Party was only supported by the right in Germany because the conservatives (specifically the Konservative Revolution) heavily supported Prussianization, and so did the Nazis ( Kuehnelt-Leddihn considered Prussianization to be the ruination of Germany, and traces its cultural roota to the massive influx of Huguenots in Berlin after they got kicked out of France). In Austria under Dollfuss, you can see Nazism was definitely NOT considered right wing.

The Nazi’s crushed the ‘left’ section of their party when they purged the strassers and slaughtered the SA.

Even before then they were a party of the right. They glorified the past and saw humanity as fundemntally bad. At their very core they were right wing.

The objective of communism is not to represent politics but to destroy it and, then, to create something entirely new.

They were also totalitarian ultranationalists who favored "national unity" under the state and class collaboration (often in benefit of the bourgeois) rather than internationalism and class struggle. That's all of the strikes in left-wing terms.

Eradication PR at least sterilization of the "unfit" was considered progressive then, eugenics was the craze, see George Bernard Shaw, Oliver Wendell Holmes, H.G.Wells, etc This is why eugenics play such a big role in Brave New World (a satire of progressivism)
