Le Marquis was a decadent liberal who well deserved the time he spent in jails. He's one of the few of our national authors I never plan on reading.

The corner point of his philosophy that "wounding being better than being wounded" do has quite an appeal, especially in the way he presents it.

I think there are really two different definitions of "Skeptic." Firstly there's, "A member of the new atheist movement." Secondly, "A non-traditionalist (or non-conservative depending on how wide you want to cast your net) anti-SJW YouTuber." There's a lot of overlap, but those are the two meanings for the term, generally, and if you don't know which meaning someone is using, it could cause confusion.

Ill be honest. Im much more right wing than left. Almost completely so. However, one of my core beliefs is that no one ideology will be effective continually, as they (left/right) have different strengths and weaknesses. Because of this belief, I want to understand the left side more, if you'd help me.

That really depends on what you mean by "leftwing". I can help with socialism, but I don't consider myself leftist in general.
