More's the pity that Putin concocted new reasons for the world to dislike Russia that wasn't Communism. From being an authoritarian prick with a disregard for human rights to encouraging cynicism as a fucking excuse for all of the fucking bullshit he pulls to the point that we have to hear it EVERY FUCKING TIME whenever Russia commits a new height of douchebaggery to making homosexuals into a scapegoat for nearly everything wrong with the country when it's really his little cabal of oligarchical hedonists. Also, Russia is not at all fucking innocent of interfering in our elections. Trump has not been proven to have colluded with them. That does not absolve Russia in the slightest.
