Also SCOTUS just voted to strip away a lot of the rights workers have to sue their employers, but tell us more about how the government is putting working Americans first.

Seems like the right call from a quick reading. Ought to be interesting to see how they rule in the union case as well.

First he was pro Chinese firm ZTE, and apparently cared about Chinese jobs being lost than those at home, and wanted to help the company. Now, he's back peddled, I'm guessing after bipartisan push back, he's no longer pro ZTE.

I just think it's odd that an American president is tweeting about Chinese jobs being lost. Also, I read that a Chinese firm gave money to the Trump Co. during that which may or may not have influenced Trump's attitude.

Oh, wow, he repealed an old piece of legislation from the FDR administration, that's so awful.

That would actually be even worse than what he did. The Supreme Court does not have the power to repeal acts of Congress.

Workers have fought back against the waivers, arguing that the cost of pursuing their cases individually in arbitration is prohibitively expensive. The ruling does not affect workers represented by unions.

The United States has had a very high percentage of Germans within its borders almost since its inception, and even before. You don't recognize it as much since they were integrated after WW1, destroying the last few enclaves that still spoke it frequently.

The point is that the WASP identity was never really a thing, cohesively, at least.

The ruling more or less boils down to "things as written must be enforced". There's nothing to stop Congress from changing how laws on this topic work in the future if, say, the Dems ever get a trifecta in the future.
