I do admit, I wouldn't be too surprised if a deal doesn't work, it's really hard to convince the hermit kingdom to give up their nukes, especially when we continue doing joint military operations which they conceive as "an exercise for invasion" and would rather we leave the region altogether and we say "no."

You'd think it'd be quite simple, they give up nukes, we lift sanctions and we promise not to overthrow the Kim regime and peace in Korea might be restored, but I don't think it's that easy.
