This is terrifyingly fascist....

"Senate Foreign Relations Committee chair Bob Corker (R-TN) and Democratic committee member Tim Kaine (D-VA) introduced the bipartisan bill on April 16, and it has four additional co-sponsors."

So does that make Kaine and Corker fascists? What are the chances this passes? Also, stop fucking fearmongering everything for God's sake all of us are sick of it.

Seems like the right call from a quick reading. Ought to be interesting to see how they rule in the union case as well.

What do you think if the Trump-Kim summit failed? Who should we partially blame more?

That's was funnier in my head.

Any-way...it will be Kim that gets the blame because I don't think anyone think's he's sincere except maybe the president. The splashback on Trump will just be him believing he had a shot, and even then he can brush that off by saying he tried. This is where lowered expectations are really going to work in his favor. If you already hate the dude you've already spent your points mocking him for this. If you like him you've already made your excuses. If you don't have an opinion on him...who the fuck are you and how...how did you manage to get that way?

If Donald Trump accuses an individual of malfeasance without evidence, it is almost a certainty either he or someone associated with him has in fact committed that very same malfeasance to a greater degree.

Yeaah, that was pretty terrible.

I think both will get the blame, but most will blame Trump because... well do I need to say anything really?

I do admit, I wouldn't be too surprised if a deal doesn't work, it's really hard to convince the hermit kingdom to give up their nukes, especially when we continue doing joint military operations which they conceive as "an exercise for invasion" and would rather we leave the region altogether and we say "no."

You'd think it'd be quite simple, they give up nukes, we lift sanctions and we promise not to overthrow the Kim regime and peace in Korea might be restored, but I don't think it's that easy. And if it does turn out to be that easy... well fuck me and call me Shirley. (Not literally, obviously, but you get it)

It's just some ridiculous opinion article that does nothing but saber-rattle fear and end of the world like scenarios that will not happen. Like San Lumen said stop your defeatist attitude and actually do something then.
