Just because people are oppressed worse elsewhere doesn't mean someone else can't be oppressed.

This is like saying gays weren't oppressed when they couldn't marry and could go to jail because someone somewhere else had it worse.

They have never known what its like to be unable to speak out against the government, not knowing who is a member of the secret police, being unable to practice your religion, wonder if someone is going to kick your door in at midnight and drag you away for who you love or your religion or criticizing the government in speech or press.

Those aren't the only ways for one to be oppressed. And again, there are degrees to oppression.
Yeah: Egalitarianism, equality
Meh: Labour, the EU
Nah: pointless discrimination, authoritarianism, Brexit, Trump, both American parties, the Conservatives

Tell me how is Telconi and other like him being oppressed? How is their so called plight remotely similar to someone from Eritrea or Uzbekistan?

He isn't to my knowledge. My point is your rants about oppression are too simplistic, and that Romanians or North Koreans etc. being severely oppressed doesn't negate, and isn't an argument against, someone else being oppressed.

How is their so called plight remotely similar to someone from Eritrea or Uzbekistan?

Where have they claimed that it is? So far, the only person to make that comparison is you.

They claim their state government and government in general is oppressive on guns which is all they seem to care about despite that government being elected in a free and fair election

Just because a government is elected does not negate the potential for oppression. I know it's an oft touted example but the Nazis won a massive plurality in 1933 for example.

Freely and fairly elected governments can still be oppressive. And that isn't comparing themselves to Eritreans.

Because we all know Germany had utmost and complete agency to do that by themselves in the year of their lord 1945.
