Maybe put each person in a situation based on their idea of poor?

Even then you will still have several people who will say things like, “they aren’t poor, they are better off than all of Africa” or “they aren’t poor, they have a place to stay”.

Not sure how accurate it is, on account of never living in poverty, but there is a game called Spent that forces you to budget out a month (IIRC) of living in a minimum wage household.

Most of the cultures in Europe come from the Indo-Europeans mixing together

Also, the Romans, Germanic tribes, and Viking Raiders introduced their culture into most of Europe, mixing with the cultures already there.

Brazil is a mixture of many different races too. The Portuguese and other Europeans intermingled with the natives and created a whole new race.
