As I unfortunately have a learning block when it comes to foreign languages, English is the only one I can really speak, making it my favorite by default. Though I do find Arabic and Japanese to be pleasing to the ears, most of the time.

Idk. Arabic sounds kind of... harsh (nothing personal against it). Maybe its just the accent of the speakers.

It has a good..I dunno how else to put this but it has a nice “ear feel” to it. Sort of like how some foods aren’t all that good but have a superb texture? I feel the same way about Russian.

As someone who's lived in Australia for a year, I now have to stop my self from putting u's in neighbou - neigh - neighbor, favourite, etc. But putting r's before e's, like in 'centre', I can resist doing that just fine.

I remember a period of time where a bunch of my friends and I got moderately into French pop.

I feel sorry for you. I wouldn't like being somewhere where everyone is just like me. I've learned Spanish from my diverse classmates, and I would never have learned that I like Syrian food without the refugees in my German church. I know one person who lived in Turkey her whole life and there is no language I find more beautiful than hers. I have a friend whose family is from Cambodia. Without that friendship, I wouldn't understand Buddhism and woul never have the same attitude I have now. Where I live is so beautifully diverse, I have heard so many stories and languages and seen so many cultures. I would never trade any of this for the world. Diversity is a good thing in every way.

Most high-salaried jobs are also located there and much of the high cost can essentially be traced back to strict central planning in land allocation which is why some people are advocating market urbanism.

Specifically for me, I also happen to find urban aesthetics great and appealing.

I'm serious when I say that I want to be in the majority and I don't care for immigration or the arrival of new communities. My city is "diverse" enough, if it had say 10% Black people. It is a major disgrace and disappointment if I see where I live becoming what I don't want.
