Yes. My name is fairly reflective of Germans in America (heh) so what would be wrong with that? Names are supposed to be diverse. Shakiba is my favourite name.

Agreed but according to Trumptonium it is somehow a threat to his countries culture to have foreign names. There are plenty of streets and neighborhoods in major cities with foreign names. Flushing, Brooklyn and Harlem are all Dutch for example.

Why do some Americans really think they're above everyone else? They do realise that all of them are immigrants, right? Oh, wait, no they don't. Why not? Because America First! When they meet me for the first time, they ask if I'm British. I say no, and they immediately think I'm lying. Why? Because they don't seem to acknowledge the fact that there are more than two countries in the world. Not all Americans are like this, but apparently enough to make sure Islamophobia, racism, everything against diversity seem legitimate.

I agree. This American exeptionalism bs is messed up. That's probs why some people go on rants every time they hear a foreign language.
