I'm not suggesting immigrants shouldn't learn English or speak it to the best of their ability with people whose primary language is english, but blowing a gasket over two people preferring their native language is stupid.

No. It’s just that I think when you are in a group of people and part of the group talks in a foreign language that it’s rude. I have nothing against random people talking in a foreign language, though I’d rather them to at least try to speak the dominant language of that nation. Just like I would if I went to their nation.

I would find it rude if I am in a group with them and they're doing it to make sure I can't hear them or to exclude me, but if there's just random people in public speaking Spanish or Japanese it doesn't bother me.
