America and Europe have been wastefully overproducing resources for decades. Clearly, it's not a problem of lack of resources to maintain a larger population.

Didn't I say that they don't need more people, and not that it couldn't have more. People aren't just as as precious as they were 200 years ago. Or 300. Or 500. You get the idea.

So according to you we should close the borders and stop all immigration in the USA and Europe?

Pretty much. Sure, we can have immigrant specialists, it's not like they can't get a job anywhere (also, having all of the world's smartest people is kinda good, since intellect is at least partly congenital) - but low-skilled, low-paid manpower? Nah.

In today's interconnected world you couldn't close the borders and shut down immigration. The European economy and and that of the US would collapse rather quickly.

So Rohingya or Karen people trying to leave Burma, you'd say to bad but you born in the wrong country not my problem if the government is oppressing you.

Because their was a military coup and they systemically oppressed the people and created one of the most repressive regimes in the world. Many laws remain in place that oppress certain ethnic groups, some people like the Rohingya people have no rights because the constitution says they dont and even though the junta no longer exists the military still remains a powerful force in government.
