No, you didn't. Plenty of factors other than policies can create high crime and poverty: people who move there may be more predisposed to poverty and crime, culture could affect it, having a high population means there will be more crime, etc. You simply yelled that it was their "bad policies" without explaining what policies specifically were causing that or whether policies actually did cause those things.

Oh, which people are more predisposed to commit crime?

Do tell.

I said it was a possibility, not the reality, and it's not caused by race, of course (correlation doesn't imply causation, even if the crime rates did correlate, which I doubt). Perhaps gang members are more likely to move to California than any other state because of its already large gang presence in LA.
At any rate, you're still deflecting and trying to shut me down with gotchas.

No, I'm trying to understand you're logic, or what little of it there is.

San Francisco but not Los Angeles and other metro areas.

Yeah those awful people in San Francisco. How dare they be allowed to move from the city! What makes them abnormal because they different viewpoints from you?

I said something about them being allowed to move?

And while I realize your poliitial agenda makes you want to think every person from San Francisco is an angel, the fact of the matter is they were assholes, and everyone from San Francisco I've ever had the misfortune of knowing has been an asshole.

I'm sure you'll gather up the straw and build another man out of it, but alas, nothing I can do about that.

Explain how they were bad neighbors and how you can label everyone from a city based on a few people?

This person once told me "You don't have the right to judge me, I'm better than you." During a confrontation during which they called the police on me for doing literally nothing wrong.

Actually, it is because their iconic fog covers the portal to hell. I mean do you ever wonder why most of the people living in San Fran are just straight up weird? It is because they are not human at all, but demons in disguise. Don't get me started on the shapeshifters in Los Angeles, and the vampires in Silicon Valley.

Interestingly enough, Seattle's rainclouds cover the stairway to heaven as well. They say you can see them on the rare clear day, but few have. I wonder what it is about the West Coast that makes it the center of all extramortal dealings.

That sample size is still way too small for a city as big as San Francisco. You could maybe use that for a metric regarding the behaviors of people from some rural town with a population of 200 in Arkansas, but not SF, which has 871,000 residents.

-Shrug- don't really care to risk it. Easier to just assume everyone from there is that way and avoid them. Some of them are good folks I suppose.

sorry but a few people are not indicative of several hundred thousand. That would be like me saying all rural folk in my state are like you which they are not.
