I remember reading that the record is a cat named Creme Puff who lived to 38. For dogs, it's an Australian cattle dog that lived to 29.

I'm not entirely sure how old my cat is. Probably around 7 as well.

My grandparets had a dog who lived to be 17, I think.

Is your cat still very active though?

"You may select up to 5 options"?

Saying "yes" to having a pet kind of negates the "no."

How do we know this? Because the first step toward Communism is Socialism, and none of the aforementioned are even remotely Socialist in any way, shape, or form.

I used to have a cat named R Zar Ni... based on a Burmese singer of the same name. It was back in Burma, of course. An orange and white kitten that grew up to around 4-5 years old (I think). I really, really love him, though at that time, being a kid (~10 y/o), I tend to mess around with him a little bit, but he and I were still in great terms with one another. I remembered crying a little when my relatives joked that they gave the cat away because I was playing too much with him. :P

Come 2006-ish, I went to Singapore for my studies, and during the school holidays in 2008, I went back to Burma for a holiday. R Zar Ni is... gone. He apparently wandered away from home and given Burma's messy Downtown roads, he got lost and never came back. WORSE, I am forced to remember (even till now) of what kind of fate he went through. Was he attacked by stray dogs (another problem in Burma)? Eaten by people? TORTURED? My mind couldn't rest every time I thought of this. My relatives and I have all been heartbroken, and kicking ourselves for losing him.

It was all after this then we decided to get proper grills, railings, etc. to keep the cat inside the home. And it was after this then the rest of the cats we keep live healthily. R Zar Ni's mom died of old age, while his sister still lives around till now, timid of strangers (me).

Oh no!! Poor girl!!

I'm too hesitant to put my dog in a large body of water. He begins to tremble when he's waiting in the bathtub though. Since he's got little legs, I'm not sure if he can even swim...
