Top 3 worst presidents in history? Totally agree. I think this is supposed to be the best though.

I’m impressed that you managed to put the president who closed America off to Jews trying to flee the Nazis, the most pro-Israel president, the most hardcore segregationist, and the strongest advocate of desegregation all on the same list.

Coolidge closed off America to Jews fleeing persecution in Europe. FDR continued that shameful tradition of complying with the bigotry of the public.
Collatis wrote:He deserves to be condemned for that (although his legacy on this issue may be more complicated than commonly thought), but it is overshadowed by all the other great things he did for the United States, Jewish Americans included.
Collatis wrote:Wilson’s segregationist views also deserve to be condemned, but they ought to have bearing on my evaluation of him as a person, not his performance as president.

De Telegraaf: In Brussels there were violent protests against the current government and against the Christian Conservative policy between 19:00 and 21:30. Minister of the Belgian States Kees van der Staaij says he wants to have a talk with the rebels, since this has to be arranged through the House of Representatives and / or the King (with other officials: The Ministers have little to say) van der Staaij is going to have between 23:00 and 4:00 a debate in the Lower House with Minister-President Dave Hagen and the other Political Parties

I don't hate him, I thought he was a fine president, but I feel policy wise he didn't really do much other than take a hard stance against the Soviets and take responsibility for the failed Bay of Pigs invasion. I feel people only like him for his young charm and inexperience, and the fact he was assassinated in what continues to be one of the greatest conspiracies of all time.
