Trump never said he wanted all Mexicans or even all the Muslims out of America. He said he wanted all people who entered this country illegally out of the country. Any Nazis who voted for Trump would be more idiotic than usual, as Trump counters a lot of their most important beliefs (he's against large government and supports Israel, for example).

That is in no way a common feature of Republicans, just an idiotic strawman perpetuated by very intolerant leftists. Also, "probably called in threats" means you assumed that too. You would sort of be correct to be ashamed, even if you were being sarcastic (which you probably were).

See...this is why Ohio is better than Michigan, been telling yah for years
Im a slightly Authoritarian Moderate, I believe limited monarchies are the best systems of government, and that every 2016 presidential candidate was an idiot.
I personally feel that most people, in the act of trying to sound smart, often usually don't know what the fuck they are talking about.

You jumped the gun. The "Trump did this!" portion of the thread hasn't begun yet. It's better if you copy this comment back to your Notepad and paste it back into the thread again later when the time is right. Thanks.

I had no clue there was a specific time when I was supposed to say "Thanks Trump", but anyway I wasn't thanking Trump, I was separating him from some random idiot making a death threat. I thought you would be able to tell the difference.

I addressed that. Those were very clearly jokes. He would never actually want anyone to physically attack CNN staff. I understand that his words and actions are often quite divisive but never to that point. At least not intentionally.

Well apparently CNN didn’t care enough to run their own story.

Legal reasons, probably. Reporting on a criminal case that they could end up being involved in could be taken as trying to prejudice any potential jury.

I said that he probably called in threats to an Islamic centre because the NBC article reported that he called the threats into CNN from the same phone number that was used to call in threats to an Islamic centre. Probably the same person, possibly different people using the same phone.

And it was, as I've said, wrong of me to make assumptions about the identity and motives of this person based on limited details of the crime. Hopefully this will serve as a remind to us all, going forward, not to repeat my mistakes.

It's not really an assumption when the allegation that he admitted doing so is part of an affadavit.

To quote the OP article:

According to an FBI affidavit, Griesemer, for whom no age was given, called CNN 22 times on Jan. 9 and 10, railing against African-Americans, Jews and CNN from the same phone number that was used in September to communicate threats against an Islamic center in Ann Arbor. The affidavit alleged that Griesemer admitted making the call to the Islamic center to local police.

Crimes committed by Muslims will be proof of a pan-Islamic plot and Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand, crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of mentally ill lone wolves who do not represent their professed belief system at all.
The probability of someone secretly participating in homosexual acts is directly proportional to the frequency and loudness of their publicly professed disapproval and/or disgust for homosexuality.
If Donald Trump accuses an individual of malfeasance without evidence, it is almost a certainty either he or someone associated with him has in fact committed that very same malfeasance to a greater degree.

As much as I agree its far too early to ID this guy as a white republican, it does bear stating that this exact argument occurs in reverse every time there's a bombing and muslims get blamed the second the story breaks.

I'm one of the people claiming it's a white Republican. Find an article where the name was released, sounds Muslim, the threats were of an extremist nature, and I'll be equally as close-minded there.

With all the rhetoric and vitriol toward certain news outlets it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. Im glad it was stopped. Though to be honest i think its only a matter of time before someone on the right guns down a reporter or does a mass shooting at a news outlet or newspaper.
