i am not by any stetch a carter fan. among other things i think he is anti-semitic. i thought he was an awful president, he basically won the election on a platform of "i will not lie to you", and after nixon, that was quite enough. (remember if there had been no chappaquiddick, ted kennedy would have won that election)

Now to be fair to carter, i do think he was the most honest presidents in my life time, but i think he was a disaster.
