You are not a Maoist rebel my friend, these are Maoist rebels.

What an edgelord poser.

Edit: After watching some of his content he does seem based. Although I do maintain that his chosen aesthetic as a "Maoist rebel" is kind of posery and cringey to me.

From those pictures you’d think they could do better then one old Enfields. Hell, was honestly expecting some Chinese arms.
Anyway, I really don’t give a crap. If she can under the law then I say good for her.
Most of the time I have no idea what the hell I'm doing or talking about.

The Chinese aren't really Maoists anymore. Or any kind of communist in reality.

They do have more than just enfields in other pictures, but it is almost always old British arms.

I don’t mean the Chinese government supplying them, rather just that I was expecting more Type 56’s.

Anyway, I guess old rifles are better then no rifles.

Why would they have Chinese rifles? They aren't in China.

They're in either old colonial possessions or areas where British forces fought in WWII or shortly after, places where a lot of surplus SMLEs would obviously end up.
Also, the rifle in the second picture (of India) looks more like an M1 Garand to me, and the third image (PLGA, also Indian) seems to have a variety of weapons.

It was a generalization, and I’m well aware for the reason of there being British arms in their hands.
As for why they would have Chinese arms? Chinese weapons have a habit of finding their way into the back market, especially in SE Asia. Anyway, just an observation.

As for the second one being an M1, eh, trigger guard doesn’t look like one, but the resolution is honestly to low for me to really tell.

Note the absence of a magazine, ejector port or magazine well on the underside of the rifle - elements I would consider consistent with the Garand's design.

Problem with that is that the Garland does indeed fact have a floor plate.

Anyway, the various weapons circulating in India is probably as far of topic we can get, so I’m going to go ahead and bow out here.
