Forcing through a massively unpopular and potentially suicidal tax bill is all the GOP have managed to accomplish this administration. People gotta cling to that and parade it however they can.

Eh, the tax bill will work out in the long run. It's bad early on due to corporate slow reactions (it's about as bureaucratic as the DMV when it comes to change). Money will eventually get to the people, but it'll be a slow and arduous process.

While I do think high income earners should pay proportionally more I'll never understand the fascination with overly taxing them. Unless you're willing to go full authoritarian socialist and seize their assets, the rich in the US have gotten pretty good at dodging taxes.
