How does his statement imply that? I am well-versed in formal logic, and that is not at all a necessary implication of what he said. All he is implying is that Haiti, in particular, is a shithole, which makes sense, because no country that isn't a shithole (or going to shit) has that many refugees in the first place.

It was something that happened in 1973. According to your logic, Hillary Clinton is a homophobe for being against equal marriage rights several years ago? People change, but even so, being sued is not equal to being guility.

Tump's alleged racism was never the topic before he became the president. He is an odd person at times, I'll give you that. Even MLK's nephew would disagree with calling him racist (though, he did call him "racially ignorant", still, being ignorant about something is not equal to hating people or wanting them ill).

Calling a country a shithole isn't racist just because most people who live there are of a certain race. I think Louisiana is a shithole. I also don't hate white people.

His racist history seems to point to what his criteria for calling countries shitholes are. Plus it was during the DACA meeting when Dems wanted to save the visa lottery for Haitians, Nicaraguans and Africans that he ranted about those countries being shitholes. Very much doubt white majority countries are in the lottery.

A president's party almost inevitably loses seats in midterms. The usual question is how much. Presidents with 50%+ approval suffer negligible losses. Below 50%, and losses become significant. I don't even know what Trump is at right now, but I know it isn't 50%.
