Should we ban pornography?

I originally asked this question back in July, but here goes again.
Pornography, as the dictionary puts it, is "printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity, intended to stimulate sexual excitement." It's one of the most common forms of entertainment in the world. What's so bad about entertainment? Why should we ban it? Well my case is that Pornography has far more negatives than positives to it, such as;

-It creates emotional bond with artificial world
-It results in a short term high, eventually results in feelings of emptiness, low self-esteem and deep loneliness, similar to drugs
-Means you can’t get aroused by just your spouse
-Porn wrecks your libido
-Porn makes you sexually lazy
-Makes regular intercourse seem mundane
-Makes it difficult to last long during sex

In all honesty, I want to crack down on it from a Biblical, moral perspective. And before any smartass opponent to this brings up something "bad" in the Bible, I don't care. Pornography destroys love, it makes people reliant on sex and on hedonism to feel enjoyment. And this enjoyment, is not really enjoyment. It's a respite from a lack of enjoyment. Like said above, it's similar to, if not a mental variant of, drugs. You can get addicted, it can give you mental and emotional problems etc.

There are far, far more and one I would like to go into detail more is it's addictiveness. A porn addiction can be worse than a drug addiction or an alcohol addiction. It can ruin your life, your marriage and other relationships. According to SAGU (source), 20% of men visit porn at work, 40 million US adults regularly visit porn sites and 10% of adults admit to a porn addiction. This is horrific! One in ten adults are addicted to porn. It's terrible. How many kids watch porn?? There is very few effective methods to stop children from accessing porn without downright censoring their internet use. The only way I can see that we cure this is an outright banning of porn. What do you think? Should we ban porn?

So does literally everything else that feels good. Eating fine food. Drinking. Driving a nice car. Anything.
You can get that sort of reaction from literally anything that makes you release endorphins.

And how is this a bad thing? Seriously, make your argument why it is bad if the person is still getting the satisfaction he wants.
And by that logic, how is any other simulator activity not bad? After all, playing a driving game makes me too lazy to become a race car driver. And playing a flight simulator makes me too lazy to buy and pilot an aircraft. Are those evil as well?

Since I'm using a school tablet (which blocks "bad" words such as porn), all I did was add an extra "o" and I bypassed them (so I can get the articles). Making the stupid word, "poorn". See systems that are set to block it are already in place don't work.

Banning pornography would likely be impossible. This isn't back in the days when the only place you could obtain pornography was a store with entirely blacked out windows with XXX above the door. If that was the case, then it'd be fairly easy just to close all the sex shops etc down, and the supply of pornography would dry up eventually. But this is the 21st century, we have the internet. Unless the internet is going to be turned into a strictly controlled and censored Orwellian nightmare, then banning pornography will likely be completely unenforceable.

Besides, we know that access to porn is correlated with lower rape rates, and although we can't prove a causal relationship at this time, we shouldn't ban something all willy nilly for no good reason.

Eh, as long as people have the freedom to make porn and people have the freedom to view porn, it'll be around.

As long as the actors are consenting to making the porn and not being forced against their will, it's their right to do so.

So does reading a book, or engaging with any other work of culture that is set in a fictional world (such as movies, music, etc). We often form an emotional bond with the characters when reading a book or watching a film, like feeling sad when something tragic happens to them, or feeling elated when they overcome a great obstacle to reach their goal. Feeling an emotional connection to fictional characters is not a bad thing.

We need a source for that. Based on my own experience, I feel happy and relaxed for the rest of the day, without any of those negative feelings that you describe.

Based on my experience, that is wrong, very wrong. I like pornography, but my partner alone can easily have the same effect.
