She sounds like a DP insider. Nothing new, really.

Nothing concrete, IMO.

Oh, maybe it's different in the US.

Did you go to public school? In Canada, parents generally only pay for basic school supplies (paper, pencils, pens, binders, etc.). It usually doesn't cost that much, maybe $100.00 bucks a year.

What did they make your mother pay for?

They don't make you buy the textbooks?

But preferably not a pick we should be going with. There are many others that would be a much better bet.

Oh, goodness no. The school buys those.

Mind you, getting kids to actually pay for textbooks isn't the worst idea, since it would encourage them to actually take care of the things. The only caveat is that funds should readily be available for people below a certain income, so that they can actually afford to buy them.

Most of the time I have no idea what the hell I'm doing or talking about.

”Many forms of government have been tried and will be tried in this world of sin and woe.
No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is
the worst form of government, except for all the others that have been tried from time to time." -
Winston Churchill, 1947.

"Rifles, muskets, long-bows and hand-grenades are inherently democratic weapons. A complex weapon makes the strong stronger, while a simple weapon – so long as there is no answer to it – gives claws to the weak.” - George Orwell

Just the whole "Clinton lost, so let's double down and elect someone who has the same credibility problems as her" sounds like a bad idea.

Honestly though I'm not sure I even see her running in 2020. And even if she does, I feel like it'd be so split someone else would win. It was rare enough to nominate 1 person with the unpopularity of Trump, let alone us nominating TWO in 2016. I doubt we'll follow up by nominating another unpopular person.

But who the fuck knows.

Honestly a part of me thinks if they do that then we might get another anti-establishment voter wave that actually works this time.

Hillary Clinton. Everyone says Fuck You to her, someone should back it up with action!
Crimes committed by Muslims will be proof of a pan-Islamic plot and Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand, crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of mentally ill lone wolves who do not represent their professed belief system at all.
The probability of someone secretly participating in homosexual acts is directly proportional to the frequency and loudness of their publicly professed disapproval and/or disgust for homosexuality.
If Donald Trump accuses an individual of malfeasance without evidence, it is almost a certainty either he or someone associated with him has in fact committed that very same malfeasance to a greater degree.

Given the current state of affairs I wouldn't be surprised.

The closest thing to a populist the DNC has at the moment is Sanders and others of his ideological bend, and they're... less than ideal, for many reasons. Least of all because the DNC doesn't actually want to run them as candidates.
