Nyc in general is considered a target. I had no specific information about a event. We are in a hightejed state, but that is more an artifact from the last attack at the wtc in the fall.

Well, either there have been more attacks, or just more media coverage. And yes, I wasn't quite expecting a bomb in the subway, though it had happened in England just a little while ago, so it wasn't completely UNexpected, either.

We expect a bomb in the subways all the time. We train for it, and are in the process of putting cameras to cover every inch of the property so we can see it. Every entrence and exit already has video coverage.. That said there was no specific information that I had seen warning about this attack. Only a generalized highneed state due to the last one.

Commuters said they felt a blast in the Subway tunnels underneath the Port Authority Bus Terminal around 6:30am. The bus terminal is a major transit hub for people commuting into the city by bus from New Jersey, and is located just a block from Times Square.

Police have one man in custody, who had an explosive device on him. The FDNY said they are investigating the possibility of it being a terror attack.

Facebook has been a platform for slinging vitriol for a very long time, so it doesn't surprise me in the least. Leaving Facebook was the best internet-related decision I ever made. On the subject of medical treatment, if doctors could choose who they treated on the basis of ideology/criminality etc, then we may as well say goodbye to the moral and ethical foundations of Western medicine.
