Pretty sure the two-state solution was going to aim for Jerusalem as capital of two states anyway. The main point of contention is that the Palestinian people were never really onboard with that part of the solution, and would much prefer to have the entire shebang, an ambition which becomes less likely if the Israelis are entrenched in the western part of the city.

But rewarding spoiled brats just ruins their character, so meh.

Well, yes and no. Abortion opposition is related to the concept of life beginning in the womb and the moral guidance derived from texts on a fight between two men hitting a woman and causing her to give birth prematurely. Therein injury to both child and woman are to be repaid life for life, eye for eye, strongly arguing that an unborn child killed in the womb is equivalent in penalty to killing his mother vis a vis God.
