If that happens, the Third Temple will never get built; the UN would care only about preserving the status quo; not returning the Temple Mount to its rightful owners and builders; the Jewish People. Our people have been treated like second class citizens our whole existence. I don't think its right to continue this grave injustice of restricting Jews from utilizing OUR holy sites. Why should Islam have control of all of our most holy sites, which we established first, which is only their third holiest site, whereas their 2 holiest sites are in Saudi Arabia? That's not right. The UN also recognises the universal right of travel, so I doubt there would be any case where Jewish people would be restricted from Jesrusalem.

Exactly my point. The Muslims have 2 other cities, both more holy to them than Yerushalayim. Yerushalayim is our ONE holy city. For us, there's no other. While I have nothing against Muslims, I cannot understand what sort of selfish desire leads their leaders to lay claim to our holy city, and stubbornly refuse to even give us a small sliver of the land that was originally ours. Instead, even our worship in their land is an affront to them (nevermind the fact that its the same God), and they cannot fathom giving up a small sliver of land in the middle east to a people that originally controlled it and for millennia had been without a nation until after WWII. I could honestly care less where the American Israeli embassy goes. I find it weird that everyone thinks this somehow a tipping point for US-Islamic relations as if the fact that we dropped nearly 30,000 bomb is seven countries last wouldn't have done it for those already predisposed to radicalism. This will get some people undies in a knot and will lead to short term protests and purveying from curtain groups. But in the long term I don't see anything coming of this with any lasting effects.
