Pro gun is not a left wing issue. You can not be far left if you are pro gun you might be center but democratic candidates run under gun control or gun bans not loosening or keeping gun rights the same.

Yes it is. The GDR for example had a thriving shooting culture. Check your facts.

Somebody tell the communists and their proletariat militias aren’t left wing then.

And the Dems are hardly left wing either. And they have more pressing matters then gun control, and issue they’ve pretty much lost in most of America.

Nor are you the one who decides what is left wing or not.

I am not derailing it I am simply pointing out that the Supreme court will not get another conservative and for that reason gun bans will stay in place. Critical thinking comes in handy some times

Actually you are we aren't here to talk about how you think the SCOTUS will not have another conservative we are here to talk about gun laws and the whole issue with guns. Dude you just got off of a two week ban keep derailing and you could make it a permanent ban. Stay on topic

Still plenty of gun owners in germany, hell, in most of Central Europe.

Not from America or willfully ignorant about the role the SCOTUS plays in the gun issue? Any gun control laws that are passed must be okayed by the SCOTUS so the makeup of the court matters. But carry on about how the SCOTUS means nothing in this debate.

I'm quite heavily left wing (libertarian as well) and I support the right to bear arms. Whether that be latest sniper rifle or your faithful glock.

It's not a left v right issue. It's a Fascism v Libertarianism issue.

Yah no. The Constitution reigns supreme over the States.

Also, how would you stop guns going across state borders? What a ridiculous idea.

By having Congress pass a law that said that state police could charge someone with a felony gun crime just for having a gun from out of state.

And SCOTUS would strike that law down in seconds. Also state police can't do that. Only the federal government has the authority to regulate interstate commerce

Not like Keshi cares. Literally said before he wants the US to dissolve.

That awkward moment when someone from the UK criticizes gun control efforts in the US knowing they are 100% safe from the carnage that ensues as a result of lack of gun control. Of course, it's easier to judge when a law allowing nukes in the hands of citizens would not affect you in the slightest so there is no incentive for you to support making America safer or visa versa.

Well the Michigan Supreme Court is about to rule on whether public schools can ban guns >_> (the other state in which I reside) Like why can't the whole country just agree that guns in public schools should be banned!
