So how many mass bombings have we had in schools in America since the regulations made after the Bath School bombing that've killed dozens of children? How many have we seen in theaters, sports stadiums, concerts, or elsewhere in America?

These teens are dishonor the fallen by rubbing salt in the wounds how many times should they keep retelling how their school mates died before they realize they're doing more harm then good.

You do realize the kids from Columbine A) didn't have the means to get their message across the country and the world like the kids from Parkland do today and B) were literally at the time the largest mass school shooting in history, at a time where these sorts of mass-shooting events weren't nearly as common in America, right? Things changed since then.

Hello is anyone in there, I said using cpr inconjunction with clotting blood. Plus
Some time before 9:30 a.m. EST on Friday, December 14, 2012, Lanza shot and killed his mother Nancy Lanza, aged 52, at their Newtown home with a .22-caliber Savage MK II-F bolt action rifle.[27] Investigators later found her body clad in pajamas, in her bed, with four gunshot wounds to her head.[28] Lanza then drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School in his mother's car.[27][29]

Red circle: Sandy Hook Elementary School
Black circle: Lanza household
Mass shooting begins
Shortly after 9:35 a.m., using his mother's Bushmaster XM15-E2S rifle,[5][30][31] Lanza shot his way through a glass panel next to the locked front entrance doors of the school.[32][33][34] He was wearing black clothing, yellow earplugs, sunglasses,[35] an olive green utility vest, and was carrying magazines for the rifle.[36] Initial reports which had stated that he had been wearing body armor were incorrect.[37] Some of those present heard the initial shots on the school intercom system, which was being used for morning announcements.
this shooter shot and killed his mother then STOLE her rifle. So tell me how are any of the laws that you and the anti-freedom people proposing would have stopped sandyhook. Example: I mean I can go right now and steal my dads shotgun or steal a gun from a sporting goods store and shoot up someplace so how would a AWB or HCMB stop me mhhh. Why don't you tell me that.

First aid is the assistance given to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury,[1] with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery. It includes initial intervention in a serious condition prior to professional medical help being available, such as performing CPR while awaiting an ambulance, as well as the complete treatment of minor conditions, such as applying a plaster to a cut. First aid is generally performed by the layperson, with many people trained in providing basic levels of first aid, and others willing to do so from acquired knowledge.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Could've worked toward helping put in place proactive measures to prevent something like that from happening, like, oh I dunno, laws that disqualify people who've threatened murder and the like from being able to legally access a gun.

Yeah, because a school-shooting's a high stress situation where people are dying of multiple gunshot wounds and this asinine idea that kids, "should learn CPR," a-la Rick Santorum is fucking stupid because somehow a kid getting shot at is going to be able to stabilize their friend/classmate/teacher that's been shot calmly and safely and possibly save their life.

Proactive measures such as making sure those guns were safely secured could've prevented that. Seriously, stop acting like I'm saying, "AUTOMATIC WEAPONS BAN," or, "HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINE BAN," when I'm saying proactive measures because that's being disingenuous as all hell.

I love how you go from "the kids didn't say that" to "I support the kids saying that".

So here you go, you and the other people at the event actually blame the other side for being responsible for these tragedies. This is exactly what we're talking about.

And how is that preventing school shootings, which is the point of the "March For Our Lives" movement?

The point to the march wasn't to prevent shootings. It was to support civilian disarmament.

Mmhmm. And kids are puppets to their masters with no real voices of their own because they disagree with your personal beliefs on guns.

Well the NRA's a piece of shit organization that should rightly get fucked so fuck them anyway. :^)

First: I don't require someone to agree with me to listen to them. Nor do I place an age limit.

Yet you insinuate the kids are being coached into having a political stance contrary your own. Hmm.

Two: Why do you say the NRA is a shit organization?

Oh I dunno, maybe the part where they promoted gun violence against those that disagreed with the GOP's agenda?

Disclaimer: Although I am a life member of the NRA, I thoroughly disagree with their current willingness to compromise on our inherent right to bear arms.

"Compromise"? What a load of baloney, they aren't even trying to do anything of the sort.

Hmm, context is that Rubio's got the NRA deep in his pockets and utterly refused to do anything meaningful in regards to the conversations he had with the kids there.

Yeah, I'm with him on that one. Rubio's a fuckwit.

I love how you go from "the kids didn't say that" to "I support the kids saying that".

Yup, me asking for a source and context is equivalent to me saying that that wasn't said at all. Right.

So here you go, you and the other people at the event actually blame the other side for being responsible for these tragedies. This is exactly what we're talking about.

Nah, but fuck Rubio regardless. :^)

First aid is generally performed by the layperson, with many people trained in providing basic levels of first aid, and others willing to do so from acquired knowledge.

As an aside, I am taking CPR training tomorrow as a job requirement. I am in charge of a crew operating dangerous equipment that can do farm more damage to a person than a gun can.
