Interesting. What leads you to believe guns are so bad?
That we have more deaths by the hands of Americans with guns then by terrorist attacks by terrorist organizations. Also because of guns we have the most murderous police force in the world. A study just came out that showed over 2000 people a year are shot or killed by police in the US. Lastly over 83K people are injured by guns each year. This is why I hate guns.
88,0000 people die a year from alcohol, roughly 60,000 from illegal drugs, and 480,000 die from cigarettes and tobacco products. This includes other innocent people in car accidents, people exposed to second hand smoke and even, violence, as the drugs can alter their minds, with roughly 46.7% of violent criminals classifying as drug dependent, compared to about 9.4% of the population that use drugs, and drug users being more likely to commit violent crimes in general. 14.6% of marijuana users committed violent crimes, compared to 6.3% of monthly alcohol abusers, and 2.7% of people not on any drugs. [1] Those on the left often ironically argue for legalizing drugs which kill WAY more than guns, like 10,000 murders a year, but not guns because, although guns can be used for self defense and drugs are completely worthless to society other than for recreation, they themselves take drugs, so how can they argue to ban them? It's nothing but hypocrisy, favoritism about their own personal biases on what they want to keep, not death tolls.
Terrorism is a very small portion of all deaths in the U.S., and the big thing is to keep out of the U.S. instead of like countries where it's more common and thousands die a year. Terrorism is more of a problem when it destroys hospitals and that sort of thing, turning an area in to a warzone where 10 times as many people die from starvation and medical problems due to a lack of services rather than the terrorism itself. And that aside, having terrorism as an arbitrary rubric is pointless.

nice one I needed that after coming off my ban
