That we have more deaths by the hands of Americans with guns then by terrorist attacks by terrorist organizations. Also because of guns we have the most murderous police force in the world. A study just came out that showed over 2000 people a year are shot or killed by police in the US. Lastly over 83K people are injured by guns each year. This is why I hate guns.

what leads him he has a very bad misunderstanding of the 2nd amendment that goes along with numerous ideas to many to count that would turn the USA into a Totalitarian state where no one has rights just because he believes the people shouldn't have guns plus you can click the link to the first Gun Control in my OP and read the many dumb comments/ideas he had in there.

Well, they are about 8 times more likely to commit homicide than a white person. After all, statistically a black person is more likely to be incarcerat ed in any given year than a gun owner is to harm someone.

Source?

Republic of Keshiland wrote:Also because of guns we have the most murderous police force in the world. A study just came out that showed over 2000 people a year are shot or killed by police in the US.

Out of 325000000 American citizens. 0.6 person out of every 100 thousand, i.e. one person every 166700. This is pathetically small.

Republic of Keshiland wrote:Lastly over 83K people are injured by guns each year.

Out of 325000000 American citizens. 25 out of every 100 thousand, i.e. one person every 4000. Rather small, plus most of the injuries are light ones that can be easily recovered (not to mention the failed suicides that are accounted in there).

Republic of Keshiland wrote:This is why I hate guns.

So you hate guns because you don't comprehend the ridiculously small chance of one being seriously affected by guns?

Excluding suicides, the chances of someone being killed by a gun are of one every 33.3 thousand. So if "you or someone you love" is killed due to firearm crime, another 33332 were saved by "statistical luck". Nonetheless to say, firearm homicide still accounts the deaths caused by self-defense.

If 4000 people are shot by police in just the 50 biggest forced per year then yes we have a problem and more poeple are killed/injured then that because its not accounting for everyone. This is why everyone needs to be disarmed so that we are not all assumed to have guns.
