They're not.

Because making false promises is a thing the Syrian government does.

Have you considered Capitalism? I mean America is probably the most capitalist country on the planet and there seems to be a link with pro-capitalism and pro mass murders. Not sure whether that's causational or not, needs to be looked into I guess.

Keshiland, seriously, stop it with the sweeping generalizations.

What a bizarre and nonsensical argument.

Irrelevant, I don't believe anyone here has advocated for kindergarteners to have firearms at school.

It was a straw man, whatever you have got to say in its defense is irrelevant, as you are defending a straw man.

There are plenty of countries more capitalistic. And, interestingly enough, the worst mass murders in history were carried out by non-capitalists.

First off, they’re not. Second, even if they where, it’s not because of gun control. Come back to reality, you’re terrible at world building.

Meh. I am not sure that there is a link between them. There may be some peer-reviewed study that could prove me wrong, but I have yet to come across it.

@The New California Republic,

Take a look at this way. mass murders seem to increase the more capitalistic a society goes. So America is pretty much top ranked, then we have Russia (also quite capitalist nowadays). The countries that have lower levels of capitalism (and are typically regarded as socialist countries like Europe) tend to have lower rates of mass murders.

Though really it was just a point i was making that it doesn't seem to actually be guns that are the issue here, but other factors seem to play a much bigger factor.

The majority of central Africa is more capitalistic. You know. The folks often times trying to ethnically cleanse one another.

Some of the biggest mass murders in history have been orchestrated by communists, socialists,or nazis. None of which are capitalist.

I am open to the fact that there may be a link, but I would need to see a lot of research to dislodge the skepticism that I have. On the face of it, at a cursory glance, there is a link, but I have learned not to equate coincidence with causality.

Possibly a parallel link. If we look at individually orchestrated spree homicides at least.

Would you vote for the cure for cancer if it also came with black folks becoming farm equipment again?

If it came with private residences being turned into army barracks, it would definitely have Keshi's vote.

We need an independent commission that is made up of 1 democrat 1 republican 1 libertarian 1 green party 1 liberal independent and 1 conservative independent to rule on the 2nd amendment that must have a unanimous agreement on its interpretation. This is the fairest way. I hope we can all agree on this.

Nope, why should I let these random 5 people, who I didn't vote for, decide what I can do with my guns?

No. We are not altering one of the fundamental rights enshrined in the constitution because you for some reason have a hate boner for people defending themselves in the most effective way possible. Fuck all of that.

No. Why do you keep suggesting ridiculous things that make no legal sense? The Supreme Court already interprets the Constitution, there is no need for such a commission.
