The fallacy of paid prioritization lies on the word “prioritize”. There is no prioritizing web queries. Once the signal leaves a computer, it travels at the speed of light. You literally cannot make it faster.
What the corporates are offering, is instead of priority, they’re sabotaging your roads so that EVERYTHING is slowed down. Then they give the normal lane to the “prioritized” traffic.
Which wasn’t prioritized at all. It’s still traveling at the same speed.
Everything else is worse.
