This is far more fucking dangerous than you claim it to be. It puts information in the hands of a few corporate thugs who will soon get to manipulate it for their own gain.

Universities will have the Net. They have always had the Net. You will just be paying more for fun use.

Fun activity: Attempt to complete an online assignment in the dorms of a major school on GoT premiere / finale night. NOPE.

Because it wasn't always like that at all, and the internet access for free is not a right, it is a service provided to you and you should pay for it. There is no such thing as freedom being free as I keep trying to remind you. Not only that but you constantly ignore everything we've been saying to you and you continue to screech at us all the time, which is not gonna help you at all, it makes you seen desperate. Let a mod do something about this, because frankly this has been a waste of time and it's not even a debate anymore. It's just us against you and your endless screeching that no one wants.

You are completely ignoring MY argument. I fucking know the internet isn't free. Of course you pay for the internet, but you should only have to pay for the whole internet, not individual website packages that cost extra each like cable tv.

Fucking hell, that is not how the internet should fucking work and you god damn know it. The way things must factually be is that you pay for the whole internet under a single price, not pay for every single ''website package" separately. Why are you downplaying all of this?

I'm curious, can you explain why corporations didn't charge heinous prices before 2015?

Because there were fucking rules preventing that befote 2015. There were rules since 2004. However the Courts in 2014 struck them down and told the FCC to reclassify ISPs under Title II to implement net neutrality properly.

If there were other rules in place, then why would we need ISPs classified under Title II? Those other rules were clearly effective, for the most part.

I know how it works and how it worked as I used it before it was opened to business.

Americans love packages. You are seeing the beginnings of it in TV broadcasting. We have used plans for cell/smart phones.

You don't like it; you have going to have to get involved with groups to help throw these fucking repubs out. NSG is not going to be a major factor in that effort.

Because Verizon sued them and the Courts claimed that they didn't have authority under Title I.

ISPs missed out on the social media explosion and they have been trying to get the double charge going for awhile.....

The you’d just get a bunch of morons with cash on the site instead.
Most of the time I have no idea what the hell I'm doing or talking about.

”Many forms of government have been tried and will be tried in this world of sin and woe.
No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is

No it is fucking not. That is the way the evil corporate thugs win. We become compliant instead of fighting back against our corporate overlords and tearing them down from power by force. This package system will be devastating on the economy, millions of jobs and thousands of industries.

Yes, Trump designated a man to be chairman of the FCC--known to be against net neutrality--with the knowledge that rolling it back would destroy the economy. You really believe this?

Donald Trump is an ignorant dolt who hates everything made by the previous administration simply because he is black and mocked him. He doesn't care if the policy is good or bad.

If you haven't noticed, corporations have tons and tons of power over most companies that control most of the things you do with your life. And the world has not collapsed around you. Maybe in your head, but you seem to not understand how American politics currently work. Then you scream in "impotent rage* when others counteract your opinion.
