Not as fun as trying a corpse though.

Assuming Hell exists. To me it's more like what WS Gilbert said when some eager person brought a recently-deceased musician, saying, "What is he doing these days? Composing, surely!" Gilbert quipped, "No. Decomposing."
You might feel bad for Manson's fairly horrendous childhood but some people rise above that kind of misery. Manson did not. All he seems to have accomplished was the corruption of others and the deaths of innocents. I am not sorry in the least.

I would like to see the grand total costs to taxpayers for feeding, housing, clothing, and providing legal services and health care to this idiot for 46 years versus the costs of executing him in 1971.

Charles Manson has died at 83 years of age, at a CA hospital. Wild eyed, and nuts. I can't feel anything for him. No sympathy, no pity. Just a simple eh. There goes the closing chapter of the putrid vestiges that he was, part of an era.
Every time I see him, I can't help but think of Sharon Tate's murder. And what her unborn fetus might have been. I think her death was a true tragedy because it was just senseless. But of course, many murders are just that, senseless. And now, Manson is gone.
What are your thoughts on Manson, NSG?

Honestly with automatic appeals and fairly expensive attorneys being appointed for such appeals it would probably would not be the savings we all think it would be.
That said I don't care, executing him would have been worth the expense
