Yay, it's the end of the world (again...)

Well, it's been claimed by the conspiracy theorists again!

According to the article, Nibiru or 'Planet X' was supposed to collide with Earth on September 23. It drew too much attention that NASA refuted the claim. Now, the CTs (conspiracy theorists) shifted the date to November 19. The series of earthquakes will be our doom, according to them.

What do you guys think?

As for my opinion, no... just no. This kind of thing has been happening for years, I believe. We will die on *2012, 2013, 2014... it goes on. But hey, if it happens, why worry? If the destruction is on a planetary scale, I sure as heck will not feel anything from it. Besides, if Planet X exists, surely we might have feel extra gravitational anomalies throughout the planet (which we have none of so far); all of the tidal waves are still a result of the Moon, not some planet lurking about.

EDIT: There was actually also a theory where we were supposed to breakdown (or our electronics are going to go crazy) on Y2K (2000), ~~but again, didn't happen,~~ no social breakdown... What I am saying is, end-of-the-worlds are too common. I was only scared about 2012 because I watched the movie when it came out.

MORE EDIT: Well, Y2K happened, but it went under control rather well; nothing too catastrophic.

In a slightly pessimistic tone, if the end of the world is upon us, it sure as heck will be from us. I mean, have you seen Mad Max?

In short, no, I doubt that it will happen. To be extra sure, I will ask my friend from Australia later in the few hours.

Actually, I know that Nibiru will collide with Earth on December 31, 99999 CE. The Earth should be safe for another 97,980 years or so.

Seriously, why!? That doesn't really make sense. If we knew about it, we'd clearly see it. Hell, if we find Planet 9, we should just call it Nibiru, just to troll those conspiracy nutters.

The problem with all these End Times predictions is they have a date. The real professional doomsayers just say 'in our lifetime'. So the only time they're wrong is when they're dead.

Not if those doomsayers mean everyone. As long as there is at least one person born in 2017 when I announce the world will end in our lifetimes, if she lives to 2517 and the world ends, the world technically ended in our lifetimes.
