TheByzantineSeleucid Empire was the perfect combination of East and West.

The fact that he had already practically destroyed the senate in terms of prestige and power, and the situation was only remedied by his assassination before he could go Alexandria, makes it hard to take this seriously. I also sincerely doubt that Caligula was insane. Most of his actions (such as the infamous horse story) are pretty much attacks on the senate by mocking their most treasured institutions.
When your predecessor is a child molester who liked to throw people off cliffs, making your horse consul doesn't seem all that bad.

"C-Caligula was unfairly slandered by his enemies but all the stories about Tiberius are true"
Nice selectivity there. The kind of thing I would expect from someone who supports the cult of god-kings.

Didn't even say that he was "unfairly slandered," but that his actions can be quite easily interpreted as him screwing with an institution which he was trying hard to discredit in the eyes of the public and persecuted with treason trials. Though I do doubt some of the historical allegations, such as that he whored out the wives and sons of senate members. Mainly because I doubt that wouldn't have caused fullscale insurrection among the patricians. I dunno though, they might've been into that sort of thing. Most Europeans are nowadays from what I hear.

The American Revolution, where a swarm of white, individualist landowning males with alcohol and guns decided to fight a nanny state to avoid paying taxes.
It's beautiful.
