Besides those not being timeless, nationalism builds itself around a lot of those virtues, if not all of them.

Pick one.

When the Prince of Wales came over here, and made a hubbaboo,
Oh, everybody turned out, you know, in gold and tinsel too;
But then the good old Sixty-ninth didn't like these lords or peers
They wouldn't give a damn for kings, the Irish volunteers!

We love the land of Liberty, its laws we will revere,
"But the divil take nobility!" says the Irish volunteer!

America isn't really a nation though. "Patriotism" seems more accurate. I was thinking more of nations such as England, Italy, Romania, Japan, etc.

Not precisely since those are social virtues, whereas nationalism is supersocial.

Tell a Northern Italian he is the same as his brethren in the South. The old fault lines are still there.

Why would any right winger want to repeal Peace of Westphalia?

That is nonsensical.

For the record I chose other because I would reverse the Potsdam/Yalta conferences.

Because it was a flawed peace and better terms could have been achieved. Westphalia was a terrible error.

Marshal Radetzky taught the Italians a few lessons in manners. Even without his genius, they still held the Quadrilateral.
