While our Sherman's march might seem long and the walls we must climb seem ten feet higher, I have little doubt that in work and bantz we will find ultimate freedom. We have many followers in this band of brothers as we bring our thread of peace to all nations and peoples. Welcome all to the Right-Wing Discussion Thread (RWDT), a place where we discuss all matters appertaining to the right wing-spirit. This is the tenth instalment of the thread making it NS's most beloved and controversial spots to engage in deep discussions that will no doubt bring fourth the fruits of wisdom and change your life. We ask the users to go by a dual-principle of being lenient towards the topic, but also understanding if things really get too off-topic and if necessary correct themselves.

Suggestions for improvements, changes, or additions is as always welcome.

For one thing, militarism isn't just military expansion. It has an additional meaning which refers to reverence and favoritism of the military by the state, but hey, who cares about semantics right?

Militarism does not encourage nor enforce criminal acts of war. To suggest otherwise is pacifist propaganda.

Ethiopia was a modernizing nation which was a member of the League of Nations, it's only crime was that it didn't bow down and worship the white Italian masters in the First Italo-Ethiopian War. Eastern Slavs weren't tribals. Nor were Albanians, Greeks, etc.

That was moreso tongue in cheek, but if you want to get into specifics...

In the case of Ethiopia, modernizing is the key word. If your nation loses to Italy, it deserves to be snuffed out. Admittedly the whole "kill darkie" mentality that accompanied the conquest was... rather deplorable and unnecessary in the grand scheme of things, but conquest for conquest's sake is always justifiable.

Albania pretty much submitted without putting up a fight, and Italy actually lost to the Greeks, with Germany having to completely postpone its plans for the USSR and literally steamroll practically the entire Balkans just to save the Italian Army from being utterly wiped out. If anything, Italy deserved to be annexed by Greece for performing so miserably and disgracing the Empire from which it claimed cultural descent.

While I know a lot about Poland's interwar conflict, I am not too familiar with the spesific factions, would be nice if someone of reasonable knowledge on the subject would TG me the valid options.
