That's what leads me to think that this affair is a sham.
No. Frankly, when someone is sexually abused, one of the most difficult things to do is to merely admit to themselves that it happened. For one to admit they were assaulted or abused takes a lot of guts and a lot of vulnerability. To admit it to the world is even harder. I 100% believe these women.

Not even just sexual abuse, but it takes awhile for people to admit that they where abused emotionally and physically as well.
It took me close to 12-13 years to admit that I was abused as a child. If it took me that long to do that then it I can imagine why it took these ladies so long. You don't want to believe it happened.

I can also imagine that after admitting it to yourself, thoughts like "13 years have passed.. what if people do not believe me ? Should I really relive it all again" or similar did not help.

The theory goes that if Moore vacates the seat, Alabama's governor would appoint someone to hole the seat until the next election; that someone could be to conceivably recall Sessions to his old seat which would require him stepping down as AG, then Trump would be able to appoint a new AG -- one that isn't recused from the Russia investigation.

I’m now imagining Mitch McConnell doing cheerleader moves. THIS IS NOT A GOOD FEEL.

If it isn't one of his cronies, McConnell would rather the seat go to a Dem.
