so not proof by any means, I mean this wouldn't hold up in any court, at least none I'm aware of.
just amazed at how fast people will straight up label someone a racist pedophile without solid evidence.

I believe the statue of limitations has expired on this.....
As opposed to those people who think it's a conspiracy when 14 women voice similar stories.

And before Kash complains about him being "unfairly" labelled a homophobe, let's just all take a moment to remember that this is the man (who almost fucking won a seat in the United States Senate) who said the US deserved 9/11 for tolerating sodomy.

I don't know anything about the guy....why would I say that he was "unfairly" labelled a homophobe...
why would you even say that about me?

Ultimately you should actually be happy you’re not represented by this guy, by all means espouse your political views but don’t bemoan the fact this guy lost. It will honestly do some good for the Republicans.

I mean, the racist bit isn't from the sexual assault allegations. That's from him straight up saying, repeatedly, that he thinks America was better off under slavery.
As for whether or not it would hold up in a court, statute of limitations is up, so no, it wouldn't even if they had photographs and rape kits.
Wealthy whites and blacks did in Alabama, according to exit polls.

You're the one who mentioned rising crime rates, as if the GOP is to blame for that. Or have you suddenly contracted short-term memory loss? I simply explained to you that crime rates went up under Obama's watch in cities that are Dem strongholds.

Also his numerous disciplinary problems as a state official, some of which had him removed from office. Then you've got the stuff that just makes him seem shady as a politician and not just as a person like his refusal to debate Jones.
Seriously though, this race should not have been this close.Kash Island wrote:I mean this wouldn't hold up in any court, at least none I'm aware of.
Good thing this was an election and not a court case then.

Which is hardly relevant, given that there are also cities that are GOP strongholds that have seen crime skyrocket, in which the GOP's main backers are the city's inhabitants (mainly white working class). I was mainly referring to the opioid epidemic that the GOP has helpfully promised to crack down on, as if that will help struggling communities, and occasionally suggested providing lots of money for but then never followed through on, and their abject failure to follow through on any kind of policy that could return jobs and economic dynamism to the Rust Belt, white working class communities that are struggling with shrinking populations and rising crime in the wake of deindustrialization.Kash Island wrote:

Well, you "don't know anything about the guy", yet you already seem eager to dismiss every manner of allegation against him, even ones whose backgrounds are extremely well-documented, based on hearsay and lies from some partisan hack on the Internet. So that's why I'd say that. :^)

I find it difficult to believe that any informed person professing to have any level of political opinion or consciousness in the modern United States, or anyone who occasionally looks at literally any major news site or channel of any political bent, could say they "don't know who [Roy Moore] is."I generally side with Republicans, but not idiotic religious zealots and the like.
Then here's a hot tip: Roy Moore wasn't your dude. The man is a lunatic and he deserved to lose and should not be defended by anyone in the GOP who cares even remotely about the party's electoral success.

Republicans have higher murder rates.

I didn't dismiss anything, I just wanted to know the evidence, when people scream racism/pedophilia that's pretty damn serious.
besides if hes anti-gay etc etc etc then I'm happy he lost.

Well some of us are busy and have lives and don't always follow politics. I heard about the race and something about allegations but wasn't following closely, not everyone has there face planted in politics.

And as soon as Kramania lied to you and told you there was just some forgeries and lies or whatever you were awfully fucking happy to just accept that, so don't tell me you weren't dismissing anything.
Anyways, hopefully you've gotten the point. There are mountains of evidence for the accusations of racism and of pedophilia, including statements by Mr. Moore himself. Fortunately he lost, so we no longer will have to relitigate this sordid potpourri of surrealist awfulness.besides if hes anti-gay etc etc etc then I'm happy he lost.
Oh yeah he goes way, waaaay beyond most of the modern GOP in his level of homophobia. Pretty alarming tbh.

Most of the cities on that list are Democrat cities.
