Tbh, Moore seems like he's exactly the same demographic as Trump, just a little more of a hick. 70s, serial sexual harasser/assaulter, buys into crazy Infowars-level conspiracy stuff (though Moore is more vocal about it), et cetera.

It was 1.5% margin, well above the amount to trigger any recount whatsoever.

GADSDEN, ALABAMA —Moments after his stunning defeat in Alabama’s special U.S. Senate election, the Republican candidate, Roy Moore, told reporters that he was planning to cheer himself up by “heading to the mall.”
“If people think they’ve seen the last of Roy Moore, they are sorely mistaken,” a visibly devastated Moore said. “I’m going to get back up, dust myself off, and head on over to the good ol’ Gadsden Mall.”
But Moore’s plans for a rejuvenating return to his former stomping grounds hit a snag upon his arrival at the mall, where he found an impromptu victory party for the Democrat, Doug Jones, in full swing.
Adding insult to injury, security guards who recognized Moore from his mall-prowling days nabbed the disgraced Republican and hurled him from the premises.
In Washington, one of Moore’s staunchest supporters, Donald J. Trump, excoriated the voters of Alabama for their decision. “It’s a sad day for America when people believe women,” he said.

Bannon deserves this and more. This will hopefully keep GOP voters on their toes in 2018. Thanks to Bannon and Moore we really fucking need to be because Democrats now have the ability to take the Senate.

Yeah, this probably does R’s a favour depending on infighting if it allows the somewhat saner side to get back some control.

He doesn't dog-whistle nearly as much -- he's spoken at white nationalist events. I don't think Trump has ever gone to an explicit white nationalist event and spoken there.

Oh, moon of Alabama, it's time to say goodbye
We've lost our good old mama
And must have dollar or you know why
Oh, show us the way to the next little girl
Oh, don't ask why, no, don't ask why
For we must find the next little girl

Yeah, gps doesn’t work that way.
Anyway, it’s pretty muted, but there’s a few good gems.
“Lying MSM is saying Jones has won when Moore has not conceded and is not going to. Therefore Jones has NOT won. You cant say someone has won unlessthe other person concedes or the vote certification comes. They are trying to create a fake reality...again.”
“Van full of illegals caught voting a multple Alabama polling locations”
Source is, I shit you not, “nofakenews.online”
“Democrat Doug Jones won in Alabama and redacted is still calling the citizens of Alabama rednecks, products of incest, bible thumpers, stupid, and of course racist. Congratulations to Alabama Democrats, you finally got a win and your own party still mocks you. Hope it was worth it.

Comments over there include....
"In Alabama, being a democrat is only slightly less embarrassing than being a pedophile. Congrats to Alabama!"
"Roy Moore can’t do math, but he's from Alabama so yeah."”
The rest seems pretty tame, at least through page 2.
