I'm super excited, to some extent anyways. I saw that the Dow today was down 200 points at least temporarily.

Seriously though, I think the Chinese method is superior to the western one. They've been able to keep a constant margin of rapid development and growth for 30 yrs now. They have the advantage of consistent governance with a longterm vision, while we seesaw back and forth between different party's agendas with messy, incoherent national direction.

That's because over the years NGG's "left" has become an echo chamber with little to actually debate since most of them are ideological clones. They go to the RWDT because there's a differentation in social theory with the regulars there. People like me feel at home in either the LWDT or RWDT, since my ideas are syncretic in nature.

A truism that is too often ignored.
True many cultures have aspects that are both admirable and worthy, but that does not mean that the entirety of a culture is admirable or that all cultures are admirable.
It is also true that the entirety of our own culture isn't necessarily admirable.
