Would, therefore, you define yourself as a fascist or neofascist?

No, because even if he did he'd remain a totalitarian with no respect for anyone outside of his elitist Catholic worldview.

It seemed like a logical conclusion from what you wrote, but I am pleased you are not.

Machiavellian though he was, he wasn't 'bad'.

Yes, it's called "class war", emphasis on the war.

he ordered the deaths of over 100,000 CNT members, he absolutly was that bad

Kaiserreich showed us why we shouldn't give CNT-FAI any ground.

Spain, like America, enters a civil war between the Kingdom, the Carlist pretenders, and the CNT-FAI.
Letting the anarcho-syndicalists gain any ground is a bad idea. Especially so in a world where syndicalism is prevalent, but it still applies in ours where it was smothered in its cradle.

Eusko Gudariak

I never knew Juan Carlos I died in a car bomb.

Not Juan Carlos, Luis Carrero Blanco, the prime minister.

The political stagnation of the Falangist Party probably played a much bigger role than providing them a martyr.

Blanco was clearly supported by Franco to succeed him. The next pick after Blanco's death was unable to balance various factions of the party, while resistance to the Franco regime became more concrete and organized (for example, the ETA).

Blanco might have been capable of preserving the regime. The ETA's actions surely accelerated the regime's end.

In Kaiserreich, syndicalists have the tendency to show up when things are bad and make things even worse.
