I'm not sure. The skeptics say that immigration and cultural Marxism/regressive leftism is destroying it. So I say, yeah, it is in trouble unless we cut down on the Immigration.

What "skeptics" are saying that? Sargon does not count as a skeptic.

Posters should vacate this oblast before the authorities forcibly migrate you and your entire ethnic group to Kazakhstan.

I've always wanted to see Astana, and Tbilisi and Yerevan sound pretty cool too. I don't see a problem with being forcibly moved to Central Asia.

Part of the issue is that they're not just avoiding jumping into the fire - they're aiming for the cool, sweet pots of honey instead of completely safe counter-tops and plates.
The analogy got stilted towards the end, but I assume you caught my drift.

I mean, don't pretend you wouldn't do the same thing given the opportunity. And anyway, most of the countries in Western Europe are cool, sweet pots of honey anyway, so they only have the option of jumping into the fire in Eastern Europe or jumping into the honey in Western Europe.

Eastern Europe, at least the parts open during the extent of the crisis, were definitely not fires - it's completely safe, although chilly, up in Lithuania... where many, potentially most, migrants and refugees went and then promptly left for Western European countries.
You also forgot about the Balkans, which are a mixed bag of sorts.

Eh, I feel like the Baltic states, especially Estonia, are not indicative of the entirety of Eastern Europe's attitude towards migrants. Western Europe and Scandinavia are more culturally and politically accepting.
