Sweden is doing quite nicely. Alt-righters don't like it because there are immigrants and it's inclusive.
Same thing with Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and maybe Germany (though I don't know much about the latter).

Huey is admirable in a lot of ways, but he fell afoul of the common flaw of politicians in the era of underestimating fascism and associating with creeps like coughlin.

If he won the democratic primary like he wanted, he would have been an exceptionally brilliant president, better than FDR (Who he forced to the left to triangulate against him, which FDR resented), but if he went with his america first party shit, he would have associated with racists and ultimately been a socdem pushing white supremacy, even with the Klans destruction.

He expanded black peoples ability to vote by building roads in a non-fucked manner, and he did shit for other minorities.
But his comments on Jews, and praise of fascism, is unfortunate and casts doubt on him.

I think if he had lived, he would have reversed, and sadly there's no retractions or stances against to balance out due to his death.

though it may be a case of "Fair for its time" and him being ahead of the norm, and a friend to progress for the time, but regressive for modern audiences.

As we all know, Greece's policies have given them great financial and societal success. No problems there, nosiree.
