A capitalist system with capitalist laws, ruled by the bourgeoisie cannot be reformed into a socialist system. Revolution, violence, as in killing the bourgeoisie, is the singular, as only way to destroy capitalism and wipe the slate clean for socialism. Democratic socialism is a nice idea, but not realistic, parliamentarian reform won't create socialism.
