The article doesn't mention that, the article only mentions porn and the coinciding drop in rapes availability of porn has arguably caused.

I'm pointing out that the stats are also explicable by availability of abortion, as well as less lead in the air causing lead damage to brains.

In truth its probably a combination of all three that caused such a dramatic drop over the past decades.
