It's distaste toward the mainstream left. The dissident left is criticizing them, both for their neoliberal tendencies and their progressive tendencies.
Failing to adequately reform the economy, and fucking up and being racist/sexist on social issues.

The criticism is coming from the left, as well as from libertarians, though the far-right is also involved and trying to paint the mainstream left as "The Left" and itself as the way forward to defeat both the decadent Weimarists and the devious Communists.

Eh, it's worth noting that the latter two have... some seriously deep-seated rejection issues.

To be fair, some of their material is decent enough, but a lot of it is heavily biased trash. I remember one video by BPS wherein he basically blames the near-extermination of North American Aboriginals on one Vinlandic settler woman, which is... yeah, ahistorical as fuck.

Then again, a lot of the YouTube Left is irredeemable garbage, like Vox, so to each their own.

Youtube offers a platform for people with no experience, and there are a lot of teenage and tween users who gobble unsourced/anecdotal BS down. Those two combined make it a great place for "anti-SJWs" like Sargon of Akkad and Armoured Skeptic.

Yeah, that was one of the videos I vehemently disagreed with him on, the other was his video "How Women Destroy Civilizations". I agree with most of his material otherwise tnough.

You have a problem with Armored Skeptics work? Anything specifically?
Beyond that, you're underestimating the hostility of the public to the progressive movement, feminism, etc.

It offers an open platform, not one that those currently with institutional power can gatekeep and suppress alternative narratives on, and that naturally means its one of the only places offering criticism of the current governing ideologies.

Your complaint about unsourced/anecdotal bullshit is also curious. Which video of Sargons or Skeptics is unsourced in your opinion?

The people who make content on youtube aren't anti-left, actually I think the majority are liberals. The comments seem to indicate a significant number of viewers are rabidly anti-left, but bots make it seem worse than it is which is why liberal's & centrists still dominate content creation.
