Donald Trump Jr refused to discuss with lawmakers talks he had with father because... attorney-client privilege?

...

California representative Adam Schiff said that Trump Jr claimed he could not speak about the conversations with his father because of attorney-client privilege, telling the committee a lawyer was present when he spoke to his father about the June 2016 meeting and the emails that led up to it.

...that's not how this works. That's not how any of this works!

I mean.. equating the issue of abortion to the treatment of people who've lived their lives.. the argument against is that unborn babies haven't had the opportunity to live their lives, they're innocent.. but Vets who've dropped into homelessness unsupported distinctly made their decisions on their own and it's all their fault and no one should be obligated to help them.

It's the idea that our lives are devoid of context, we're all in control of our destiny and that's why the rich are superior and everyone else is a loser.

Okay, well I'm critiquing the idea that we all make choices and should be punished for them, or rewarded for success when the odds are overwhelmingly in our favour - I think it's disgusting how they've removed this support just days after promising support, beyond a presidential campaign in part delivered on support for Vets, and I also support the right for a woman not to have child especially where that decision is made before it can really even be called a child.

Just to be clear :) go back to sleep.

Well this just have me another sick feeling in my stomach. So what is the solution if the courts rule in Phillips favor? We shouldn't take the degradation of LGBT people and minorities in the name of "religious freedom" and "free speech" lying down should we?
