As a S. Korean, I'm not particularly worried, but that might be because I'm way too used to this to a state of near immunity.

Yeah, if boat hadn't have sunk, this probably wouldn't have made the news in Korea.

The news clip dsays the NK are communists...NK has denied this, heck their policies refute this.

No communist would support them...well, maybe out of spite, but no hardcore support.

Hope it turns out to be a childish test or something, considering their leader has God complex and probably doesn't understand the international consequences of such an act,.

Juche is a very oddball ideology having read some of Kim Jung-Il's writings I was disturbed how well he could write and how easily he promoted a very warped ideology while trying to mesh it with Marxism. His whole Koreans are the Supermen that will lead humanity into its next evolution was scary if not oddly reminiscent of the NSDAP.

How is the DPRK going to cover up a torpedo attack off their coastline? If anything the RoK is keeping quiet about this in order to keep a panic from happening.

The government of SK hasn't said it was the PDRK, but that's expected. Somehow, though, I doubt this will escalate. Ships have been firing on each other pretty frequently the past few decades, and this really isn't anything new, except that this time one of the torpedoes (according to speculation) hit instead of missed.

Well may be China is using Korea as a distraction. While USA fighting there China will invade Taiwan.Just a theory but I don't think anyone want to play this game and there have been no confirmation that it is the N.Korean who sank that Frigate.I could just be an internal explosion(I'm majoring in marine engineer). The only damaged that can cause such damaged is a torpedo or internal explosion.

About your question, you can either be a man and fight for your country and die with honor or you can run and live for about 40 or 60 years longer if you din't get any health problem of had an accident and in the end die on your bed knowing you will die after all ^_^

It's still not confirmed that NK did this. Also you have to ask the question, if NK didn't do this then who did?
Also since this seems like a regular sort of event between the two nations I doubt WW3 will start any time soon.

Or that they got lucky. Either one. If you figure they've been trying this for a while, statistically speaking it's only a matter of time until they hit.

Maybe one of their sub skippers finally learned how to breathe diesel that or they learned how to make a proper firing solution.

South Korea and the US is going to cover this up. It is not in their interest to start a war there.

Haven't you noticed they've been bribing and kow-towing the North Koreans for the last 20 years?

Not really Parthenon is quite correct there is nothing to stop a Shooting War from picking up right away. It is just a temporary interlude and at this point it is whoever blinks first that will start the shooting. This kind of daredevil provocation happens from both the South and the North.

"Never be deceived that the rich will permit you to vote away their wealth." - Lucy Parsons
Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy. "Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, state ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these. There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them. They differ in the type of social ownership they advocate, the degree to which they rely on markets or planning, how management is to be organised within productive institutions, and the role of the state in constructing socialism.
